I would like to see some of the Interprocess Communication stuff you've written... might save me some hours... since i'm doing that in the next week.

its eventually going be a black art once wcf runs 100% on linux with mono - [on milestone 1 of lots]... but i doubt my boss would allow me to use mono for what we do : [ on lynxos

====

about the wpf books i would recommend:
Practical WPF Graphics Programming by Jack Xu.

his .net 2.0 books is excellent also.

GoF is fantastic as a reference book, however I have a copy of HF design patterns and would definitely recommend reading that first to get up to speed. Other books I would recommend:

Agile Software Development Patterns, Principles & Patterns by Robert C Martin (I have the original, not sure how good the C# version is)

Enterprise Patterns by Martin Fowler

Refactoring to Patterns by Josua Kerievsky

I'm currently reading Applying UML and Patterns by Craig Larman, so far it has been an awesome book and incredibly well written
